Golborne Road Market is up at the north end of Portobello Road Market - walk under the Westway flyover then carry on up Portobello Road for 300 metres, and you’re there. Golborne has a fantastic selection of street food, fruit and veg, pavement cafes, bric-a-brac, vintage furniture and lots more. There's plenty of action on Golborne Road every day, with Fridays and Saturdays the best days for market stalls. STREET FOOD You'll be hard pressed to find better paella anywhere in London. FRUIT, VEGETABLES AND FLOWERS Perfectly ripe watermelons on the stall outside Golborne Place, 80 Golborne Road. A gorgeous selection of fresh produce outside Le Maroc foodstore at 94 Golborne Road An irresistible selection of blooms at the In The Garden stall outside Les Couilles du Chien at 65 Golborne Road. An amazing choice of premium olive oils in the shop window of Cash & Carry at 84 Golborne Road. INTERIORS & BRIC-A-BRAC Take a stroll along the south side of Golborne Road on Fridays and Saturdays for a huge choice of bric-a-brac and retro furniture. Shops selling antique fruniture and vintage housewares are open through the week. Visit Fez for a well-chosen range of Moroccan goods, eveything from cushions to slipers, ceramics and rugs. Keep an eye out for unusual vintage toys. The choice of bri-a-brac on offer can be almost overwhelming, in a good way.
