Fashion & Jewellery

Portobello market is a destination for lovers of vintage, but if that’s not your style, there’s plenty of new fashion too. Many famous designers and brands started out right here so you might discover the next big star.

There’s fashion for all tastes and budgets, and a great choice of accessories and jewellery too.

On the market

On Portobello Road every day except Sunday, you’ll find stalls of trendy teenage and twenty-something tops, dresses and knitwear at very affordable prices, plus accessories like hats and bags.

On Fridays and Saturdays there are many more stalls where you’ll find basics like t-shirts and shirts, plus scarves, sunglasses, shoes and tights – everything to put together a great outfit – and on Saturdays Portobello Green, just north of the Westway and out to Ladbroke Grove, is packed with fashion.

Here are some of the regular stalls;

Mr Khalkhali has colourful dresses and knitwear in the centre of the market every day except Thursdays and Sundays.

Also on Saturdays, Cyril has men’s business and casual shirts, sweatshirts and accessories, plus uniquely on the market, reading glasses for men and women.

Under the Westway on Fridays and Saturdays Laura has tights, stockings and socks in all sorts of colours, textures and patterns.

Just south of the Westway on Fridays, and north of it on Saturdays, Erez has comfortable classic footwear for men and women.

Every day except Sunday Albert and Anna have Russian hats, scarves and jewellery, plus sheepskins and traditional Russian dolls.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Feel Colour has hand-woven cotton scarves and handmade semi-precious jewellery from South-East Asia.

Under the Westway on Fridays and Saturdays, the London T-shirt Company has colourful London t-shirts and sweatshirts for adults and children.

Also on Fridays and Saturdays Loud and Proud have cotton dresses, skirts and jackets in gorgeous bright colours and prints.
